Welcome to my site!
I’m a journalist interested in connecting the world through writing, pictures, video and relevant stories while adding a human element.
My journey began in southern California as a curious boy fascinated with sports, comic books, baseball cards, and Saturday morning cartoons. A wild imagination allowed me to write poetry, as I attempted to create stories opposite to my reality.
Now, I’m interested in telling stories of people. Marginalized communities that are not always well represented in our world. I feel a responsibility to make sure their voices are heard. Recently, I’ve been honing my skills in reporting and storytelling while creating a newsletter on immigration, and athletics. I earned my masters in Journalism from the University of Oregon in 2020, and I look forward to the excitement the world of journalism will bring.
I live in Eugene, Oregon, in the picturesque Pacific Northwest and home to the ducks and TrackTown USA. I’m a proud uncle and love boxing, baseball, football. A former student athlete in high school and college who once played all nine positions in a baseball game my senior year of high school.
